What is White Sage?

White Sage is a holy herb used by Native Americans for ceremonies and clearing. Burning sage is a ritual known as smudging.

Native Americans use the four element ceremony method:
Earth = White Sage
Water = Abalone Shell
Air = Smoke &  Fire

How to use and smudge sage?

Firstly, use a match or lighter and burn the stick. Hold it down 30 degree pointing the tip that you will light.  Allow the bundle to burn for 30 seconds and then blow out flame.

Secondly, for cleaning a space make sure all windows are closed and all mirrors are covered. Start from the left side and go all around in each room or any space that needs clearing, energizing and smoke the space.

If its needed to clear your personal energies, you can ask your friend to help you out by sitting on a chair and having the smoke clearing in a rotation form around the chair. Start from the crown chakra spiraling down to the feet going clockwise.

When the clearing has terminated place the stick in abalone shell or any fire proof plate or bowl.
