Terms & Conditions of Courses, Trainings & Workshops

Legal Entity & Affiliation

Gaia Center | Academy is the educational division of Gaia Center, which is a legally registered and operating business entity in the Republic of Cyprus.
All course operations, training programs, and content delivery are conducted in accordance with Cyprus law and applicable international standards.

By booking a course, training, or workshop with Gaia Center | Academy, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Booking & Registration

  • Bookings must be made through our official website, authorized representatives, or designated platforms.
  • Participants must be 18 years or older, unless otherwise specified.
  • Your booking is confirmed only upon receipt of full or partial payment, based on the payment option selected.
  • A confirmation email will be sent upon successful registration and payment.

2. Admission Policy

  • Gaia Center | Academy reserves the right to request a preliminary interview or application review.
  • Admission to a course is subject to approval, and we reserve the right to decline any application without obligation to provide a reason.
  • If not accepted, any payments made will be fully refunded.

3. Payment Terms

  • Full payment is due at the time of booking unless a payment plan is agreed upon in writing.
  • Accepted payment methods include bank transfer, credit/debit card, or other approved channels.
  • All installments must be paid in full prior to course start, unless otherwise arranged in writing.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

By You:

  • Cancellations must be made in writing via email and are only valid once we confirm receipt.
  • Refunds (excluding deposits) are issued as follows:
    • 30+ days before course start: 70% refund (30% admin fee)
    • 14–30 days before: 50% refund (only if full payment was made)
    • Less than 14 days before: No refund
  • Deposits are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.
  • No refunds for no-shows or leaving a course early.

By Us:

  • We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any course due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., instructor illness, insufficient enrollment).
  • If canceled by us, participants may:
    • Transfer booking to a future course
    • Receive a full refund (excluding force majeure)

5. Transfers & Substitutions

  • Booking transfers to future dates may be requested 14+ days before the course (subject to availability).
  • Participant substitutions are allowed with 7+ days’ notice, and the substitute must meet course eligibility requirements.

6. Participant Conduct

  • Participants must behave in a respectful, professional, and safe manner throughout the course.
  • Disruptive, abusive, or unsafe behavior will result in immediate removal without refund.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

All course content is the intellectual property of Gaia Center | Academy, including but not limited to:

  • Videos
  • Manuals
  • Lesson plans
  • Audio files
  • Teaching frameworks

These materials are provided strictly for personal use and must not be copied, shared with other training providers of facilitators, modified, or commercialized without prior written permission.

Violations may result in legal action.

8. Health & Wellbeing

  • You confirm that you are physically and mentally fit to participate.
  • Any relevant medical conditions must be disclosed in advance.
  • Gaia Center | Academy is not liable for injury, illness, or health incidents, unless due to proven negligence.

9. Liability Disclaimer

  • Gaia Center | Academy and its team are not liable for:
    • Personal injury
    • Property damage
    • Loss of belongings
  • Participation is at your own risk, and you accept personal responsibility for your wellbeing.

10. Media & Photography

  • We may occasionally capture photos or video during sessions.
  • Consent is requested at the time of booking.
  • If you do not wish to appear, please inform us in writing before the course starts.

11. Force Majeure

Gaia Center | Academy is not liable for course disruptions caused by unforeseeable circumstances, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Pandemics or outbreaks
  • Strikes or labor disputes
  • Government restrictions or political unrest
  • Transportation shutdowns or visa issues

In such cases:

  • Course fees may be transferred or held as credit (at our discretion).
  • All deposits remain non-refundable, including under force majeure.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Cyprus, and all legal matters shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Cyprus courts.

13. Qualification & Insurance Policy

Sound Healing Practitioner Certification – Terms

By enrolling, you agree to the following:

  • You are only recognized as a Qualified Sound Healing Practitioner upon full course completion and receipt of Certificate of Final completen of all levels.
  • Until then, you must not advertise, promote, or charge for 1:1 sessions or group sessions as a practitioner.
  • Completing:
    • Any Group Certification does not qualify you for 1:1 sessions work
    • Any 1:1 Certification does not qualify you for group sessions
  • Practitioner Insurance should only be applied for after full qualification.
  • Misrepresenting your certification or applying for insurance under false pretenses is grounds for disciplinary action and legal risk.

Violation may result in course access being revoked and/or disqualification from future training.

14. Course Content & Intellectual Property Agreement

1. Intellectual Property

All course content is the exclusive property of Gaia Center | Academy and may not be:

  • Reproduced or distributed
  • Used for commercial or teaching purposes
  • Incorporated into your own programs without written approval

2. Non-Compete Clause

You agree not to replicate, teach, or commercialize any proprietary methods or training programs from Gaia Center | Academy to create competing courses or schools, both during and after your studies.

Legal action may be pursued for breach of this clause.

3. Use of Course Materials

Course access is for personal development and private practice use only, based on your certification level.

Unauthorized use may result in:

  • Immediate termination of access
  • Legal consequences, including potential claims for damages

4. Enforcement of Rights

Gaia Center | Academy reserves the right to take legal or disciplinary action for:

  • Unauthorized use of materials
  • Intellectual property violations
  • False representation of qualification
  • Breach of non-compete or ethical guidelines

This may include:

  • Termination of access
  • Revocation of certification
  • Legal proceedings

15. Acknowledgment

By enrolling in or attending any Gaia Center | Academy course, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with all of the above Terms & Conditions.
